Privacy Policy

Holdem Pro (“we”, “our”, “the Service”) is operated at holdempro.app. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who processes it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts, process payments, and keep the Service working — nothing for advertising.
Account data
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Authentication is handled by Supabase; your password is stored only as a secure salted hash, and we never see or store it in plain text. Once you have an account we also store your Premium status, the date you upgraded, and — if you purchase — the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to manage your access. This account data is held in a Supabase-hosted database.
Cookies
We use strictly-necessary authentication cookies (set by Supabase) to keep you signed in as you move between pages. When you arrive from one of our Meta ads, the Meta Pixel may also set advertising cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) used to measure ad performance and for retargeting — see “Advertising measurement” below. You can block or clear these through your browser or ad-blocker settings.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service. It collects anonymous, aggregated data including page views, referrer URL, browser type, operating system, and approximate country. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not store full IP addresses; it derives a temporary, anonymized identifier from a hash of your IP address and user agent solely to count unique visitors — this hash is never stored beyond the current day and cannot be used to identify you across sessions or sites.
We do not use Google Analytics.
Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel & Conversions API)
When we run ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how those ads perform and to show ads to people who have already visited the site (retargeting). This shares a limited set of events with Meta — such as page views, completing the leak quiz, and starting checkout — along with technical data such as your IP address and browser, and, where you provide it, a hashed (irreversible) version of your email used only to match the event. We do not send Meta your gameplay, hand histories, or quiz answers, and we never sell your data. You can limit this through your Meta ad preferences and your browser or ad-blocker settings.
Your gameplay data stays on your device
Your hand history, trainer scores, quiz results, archetype, and streaks are stored in your browser's localStorage under the key poker_trainer_v1 and are not uploaded to our servers. You can clear this anytime via your browser settings or the Reset button on the Review page.
Payments & subscriptions
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. To grant access and send your receipt, we receive your email, a Stripe customer ID, and your payment/subscription status. Stripe retains billing records as required for payment processing and tax/legal compliance. For monthly subscriptions, you can manage or cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal linked in your confirmation email.
We use Resend to send purchase-related email (such as your Premium confirmation) as well as account, trial, and product-update email — for example, a reminder before your free trial ends or a nudge to come back and close out a leak you diagnosed. Authentication emails (sign-up confirmation and password resets) are sent through Supabase. We never sell or rent your address. Every trial and product email includes an unsubscribe link — clicking it opts you out immediately, no account or login required.
What we do NOT do
- We do not collect your name or address (beyond what Stripe requires to process a payment)
- We do not share your gameplay, hand histories, or quiz answers with advertisers
- We do not read your real-money poker hand histories from any site
- We do not sell or rent your personal data
Your rights — access, export & deletion
You can request access to, a copy of, or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@holdempro.app. We will action deletion requests within 30 days (note that Stripe may retain billing records where legally required). To delete your local gameplay data yourself, open the Review page and click Reset, or clear your browser storage.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion, we remove your account data, except records we are legally required to keep (for example, Stripe's billing records).
International users
Our service providers (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, and Meta) are based in the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your data may be processed and stored in the United States.
Age
The Service is intended for adults 18 years or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. See our Terms of Service.

Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
